Collection: Tokaj

In 1993, the Álvarez family, of Vega Sicilia fame, established Tokaj Oremus. The vineyards are

spread over more than a dozen different hillside sites, of which ten were classified ‘primæ classis’

in 1803. Here the group is able to produce exceptional white wines, both dry Furmints and

sweet Aszú styles, from 3 puttonyos up to the mythical Eszencia. All present the region’s unique

combination of succulence and tang, and together showcase the amazing versatility of Furmint

grown in this historic location.
