2019 Hundred Hills Preamble No 2 England

GW says: Hailing from the Oxfordshire Hundred Hills winery, ‘Preamble No.2 2019’ is an English Sparkling wine produced from a blend of 72% Pinot Noir (complexity and depth)and 28% Chardonnay (freshness and crispness).  It spends 30 months on the lees and sees a dosage of 6g/l.  It boasts a harmonious array of fruity and toasted notes, with a backbone of refreshing acidity balanced by the dosage. Beautifully ripe with an underlying, bright mouth-watering acidity and hints of almond patisserie. The chalky texture of this wine is almost satiny, leading to a long, persistent finish that captures a zesty, creamy tangerine note. This is a wine that captures in the glass all of the complex flavour’s and aromas.
