2021 Unico Zelo Tropo Pinot Noir Adelaide Hills Australia
2021 Unico Zelo Tropo Pinot Noir Adelaide Hills Australia
GW says: From just 2 hectares of sustainably farmed vineyard nestled in South Australia's lofty Adelaide Hills, Tropo Pinot Noir 2021 is a testament to minimal intervention winemaking done right. Created by the folks behind Unico Zelo, this is Pinot without the pretension—lithe, luminous, and full of verve. The 2021 vintage delivered grapes with remarkable aromatic clarity and bright acidity, lending the wine an almost alpine purity. Fermented wild, unfiltered, and with just a whisper of oak, it’s as expressive as your favourite jazz record—light on its feet, but hitting all the right notes.
Grapes: 100% Pinot Noir, from sustainably farmed high-altitude vines.
Appearance: Light ruby with a translucent, youthful sheen.
Aroma: Red cherry, rose petal, and a hint of forest floor after a rain.
Palate: Silky, fresh and gently spiced—like a raspberry coulis on limestone.
