A modern, fruit-driven expression that showcases the lighter, more vibrant side of Cabernet Noir — a distinctive crossing known for combining aromatic lift with supple texture. The 2023 vintage delivers freshness, drinkability and plenty of character, all wrapped in an effortlessly approachable style. This is definately a dangerously delicious English red

Grape Varietal

Cabernet Noir is a relatively rare hybrid grape variety, prized for its deep colour, aromatic intensity and naturally softer tannin profile. It often produces wines with bright berry fruit, gentle spice and a smooth, easy-drinking nature.

Appearance

Bright ruby-red with youthful purple flashes at the rim. Vibrant and glossy in the glass, reflecting the wine’s youthful energy and fresh-fruited style.

Aroma

Expressive and inviting. Aromas of black cherry, wild blackberry and ripe plum leap from the glass, followed by hints of violet and crushed raspberry. Beneath the fruit lies a subtle layer of sweet spice, cocoa and a whisper of fresh herbs that adds complexity without overshadowing the purity of fruit.

Palate

Medium-bodied, silky and fruit-forward. Juicy flavours of dark berries, blackcurrant and red cherry dominate the palate, supported by soft tannins and bright acidity. There is a gentle spice running through the mid-palate, alongside hints of mocha and cracked black pepper. The finish is smooth, fresh and approachable, making this an effortlessly enjoyable red with broad appeal.

Its a bit like being stood infront of the biggest boxer youve seen in your life and hes just about to give you a left hook and at the last minute he strokes your cheek!  Delightfully elegant !

Food Pairing

A versatile red that pairs beautifully with:

  • Chargrilled burgers with caramelised onions
  • Roast lamb with rosemary
  • Barbecue ribs or smoky sausages
  • Mushroom and thyme pizza
  • Mature Cheddar or Gouda

Slightly chilled, it also works brilliantly alongside summer barbecue dishes and relaxed outdoor dining.

A modern, easy-drinking red with plenty of charm — juicy, smooth and packed with dark berry character.
