Domain Drouhin, Roserock Zéphirine Pinot Noir 2017, USA
GW says:
"Roserock is a vineyard at the southern tip of the Eola-Amity Hills, in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Volcanic soils and an ideal elevation produces classic cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Zéphirine Pinot Noir, a barrel selection cuvée, conveys purity and beauty, elegance and finesse, and will age beautifully in the coming years. The name, if your wondering, refers to the Zéphirine Drouhin variety of climbing rose, which is known for its fragrance and beauty.
Varietals: 100% Pinot Noir
Appearance: Pale, medium ruby-purple
Aroma: A wonderful nose, aromas of red berries, toast, herbs, and purple flowers.
