GW says: Rock Angel is a great expression of a Provence rosé. Produced from a blend of Grenache and Rolle grapes, this rose is partly fermented in barrel and partly in stainless-steel. Rock Angel is made from grapes from the vineyards of Chateau d’Esclans, vineyards in the Esclans Valley and nearby in the Cotes de Provence region. Suited as an elegant aperitif or savouring alongside a long leisurely lunch or dinner.
Grapes: Grenache, Rolle (Vermentino)
Appearance: Salmon pink
Aroma: Delicate red berry aromas with mineral notes, with floral hints and a subtle spice.
Palate: Rock Angel is rich and racy on the palate. The use of oak adds a creamy feel and texture to this wine, and the flinty minerality allows the palate to experience elegance and clean freshness.
