2021 Radio-Coteau La Neblina Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir USA

GW says: If you want a grown up Pinot that sat above all others like the sword chair in the Game of Thrones then this is the one. The owner, Eric Sussman had the good fortune/ timing/luck to harvest before the wildfires of 2021.  There's crunchy red berry fruit red cherries and a beguiling softness. You would probably expect that from a Pinot from this region but you also have delicate rose petals and leather - big and earthy and soft and delicate all at once. I guess it’s what makes this wine so interesting. I am tempted to say this is a bucket-list Pinot.

Appearance:

Aroma: Delicate bouquet of raspberry, strawberry, black cherry, and subtle earthy spices will delight your senses. 

Palate: Medium-bodied and silky texture.  Fresh raspberry, ripe strawberry, black cherry, vanilla, cinnamon spice notes and candied violets. A woody earthiness with elegant tannins, it offers a balanced acidity with a smooth finish and flavours of vanilla and spice.
