GW says: This is a flagship producer from Anderson Valley. NW of San Francisco.  Historically Syrah was grown there  but replants of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are now well established.   Home is in Montecito – home to a famous royal couple – but here the vineyard has had less turbulent times – enough to leave the vines to flourish.

Grapes: 100% Chardonnay

Appearance: Lemon yellow

Aroma: Toasted honey apple and baked pears pinapple and melon

Palate: Lightly toasted, cinnamon, almond nuts, caramalised lemon and crème fraiche.
