2019 Pisoni Lucia Pinot Noir Santa Lucia Highlands USA

GW says: Notes of spiced plum, black cherry and sage.  Subtle notes of dried raspberry and sous bois were most prominent, but time in the glass gives the expression of richer, more powerful notes of black cherry, crushed strawberry, sandalwood, and baking spice. 52% Pisoni, 18% Garys’, 30% Soberanes vineyards. The trademarked coastal fog and afternoon winds of the Santa Lucia Highlands provide refreshing acidity necessary for a long life in the bottle.

Aroma: Notes of spiced plum, black cherry and sage

Palete: A hit of firm tannins, then lush blackberry pie and clove flavors, with mace lingering on an impressive finish.
