2019 Hundred Hills Hillside No 3 England
2019 Hundred Hills Hillside No 3 England
GW says: A very late harvested ‘third pass’ pick of Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays from right across the south-facing vineyard parcels. Soft, creamy texture with lemon curd, mandarin, cherry and delicate pineapple notes on the palate."
Grapes: 65% Pinot Noir 35% Chardonnay
Appearance: Deep garnet with purple undertones. Opaque and velvety in appearance, suggesting a wine with depth and complexity.
Aroma: Biscuity shortbread lead into layers of yellow fruit, from ripe citrus to yellow apple, Mirabelle plum and roasted pineapple.
Palate: Soft, creamy texture with lemon curd, mandarin, cherry and delicate pineapple notes. I am transported back to my favourite lemon tart. 5* taste experience.
