Rosé Champagne can so often lean one way — either frivolously fruity or overly serious. EPC finds the middle ground with confidence. This is a rosé that delivers charm and drinkability, but with enough structure and intent to keep you paying attention.
Appearance
Delicate salmon pink with a subtle copper hue, shimmering in the glass. Fine, persistent bubbles rise in elegant streams, giving a sense of polish and finesse from the outset.
Aroma
Bright and inviting. Fresh red berries lead — wild strawberry, raspberry and a hint of redcurrant — layered with citrus peel and a soft floral lift. With time, gentle notes of brioche and almond emerge, adding a savoury complexity that keeps the fruit in check.
Palate
Vibrant and beautifully balanced. Juicy red berry fruits glide across the palate — strawberry, cranberry and a touch of pomegranate — supported by crisp acidity and a fine, creamy mousse. There’s a subtle citrus edge that adds lift, while a lightly savoury, pastry note from lees ageing brings depth. The finish is fresh, dry and quietly persistent.
Food Pairing
A versatile rosé that moves effortlessly from aperitif to table:
Tuna tartare or salmon sashimi
Duck breast with cherry or raspberry glaze
Prosciutto and melon
Roast chicken with herbs
Mediterranean salads with grilled vegetables
Soft cheeses and lightly aged goat’s cheese
Serve well chilled, but not overly cold — this is a rosé that reveals more as it opens, balancing freshness, texture and just the right amount of indulgence.
Great service, I ordered a bit late just before Xmas . But the wine was delivered promptly and was notified on the tracking of the order. Perfect thank you
I first tried no2 on a date at a fancy restaurant. Its was fantastic,so I thought I would buy a few bottles for home as wine and food always seem to taste better when you are either out or on holiday. Had a little gathering for my wife’s birthday and got asked on numerous occasions what it was they were drinking. Nobody could believe it was English and not French. Enough said.
