2018 Cobb Emmaline Ann Vineyard Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir USA
GW says: Cobb Emmaline Anne Vineyard Pinot Noir hails from a small, southwest-facing vineyard in Sonoma Coast of just 1 hectares, surrounded by forest. Planted with Dijon clones 115 and 777, its cool, foggy climate and low yields result in a refined, elegant style with bright aromatics and finesse.
Grapes: 100% Pinot Noir
Appearance: Intense ruby red.
Aroma: Ruby in colour, imagine smelling an old ancient forest floor - woody almost savoury. Red fruit, red cherries and redcurrants in abundance.
Palate: Layers of pomegranate, red cherry fruit ,ripe berries, forest floor and touches of dark chocolate - smooth tannins.
