2021 George Duboeuf Domaine de Javernière Morgon Côte du Py AOC France
2021 George Duboeuf Domaine de Javernière Morgon Côte du Py AOC France
GW says: From the legendary slopes of Côte du Py comes a Morgon with both muscle and finesse. It’s all about dark fruit, spice, and that unmistakable stamp of granite-driven terroir. This is structured Gamay with tension, depth, and poise to age or impress now with decanter in hand.
Grapes: 100% Gamay
Appearance: Deep garnet with a twilight-blue hue
Aroma: Black cherry marmalade, blueberry, crushed rock, and white pepper, with a hint of lavender.
Palate: Rich, fleshy, and voluminous. Layered with spice and earth, framed by fine-grained tannins and a saline edge.
