GW says: This is a dark wine, almost squid ink in appearance.  Nuances of tobacco box. Multi-layered flavors of mint, coffee, some fennel and toasted oak notes emerge on the complex palate, with a long, intense finish. The grapes are carefully destemmed and fermented with the winery's own yeasts. It ages for up to 14 months in American oak barrels.

Grapes: 73% Zinfandel, 16% Petite Sirah, 9% Carignane, 2% Mourvedre

Appearance: Dark Ruby 

Aroma: Black pepper and raspberry. Vanilla and spice 

Palate: Plum Blackberry and cocoa – long finish
