GW says: Champagne Drappier's 2018 Coteaux Champenois "Permission" is a still red wine made from Pinot Noir grapes, grown on the Les Egrillers vineyard, a monople vintage from Jurassic Kimmeridgean soil. It is produced in a limited quantity, with only 504 bottles having been made in the 2018 vintage. Honoring the time that champagne was a still wine, it is known for its intense red hue, blackcurrant and red fruit flavors, and structured, powerful yet rounded palate.
