NV Champagne Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial France
NV Champagne Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial France
GW says: Moët & Chandon’s Brut Impérial needs little introduction—but we’ll give it one anyway. Hailing from a vast empire of over 1,200 hectares of vineyards (one of the largest in Champagne), this flagship cuvée blends tradition with international flair. First introduced in 1869, it has since become the gold standard for celebratory fizz around the globe. Its signature style? A harmonious trio of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, artfully blended from over 100 crus. Bright, balanced, and undeniably polished—this is Champagne that wears its heritage well but doesn’t mind letting its bubbles down at a party.
Grapes: 30-40% Pinot Noir, 30-40% Pinot Meunier, 20–30% Chardonnay
Appearance: Pale gold with fine, persistent bubbles.
Aroma: Notes of green apple, citrus, white flowers, and a whisper of brioche.
Palate: Clean, vibrant and creamy with orchard fruit, toast and a hint of nuttiness.
