These prices are offered due to the highly competitive positioning of the wines and represent exceptional value within the range. They are available strictly on a case basis—either as 6 bottles of sparkling wine or 12 bottles of still wine — from Sandridge Barton. However, flexibility remains for larger purchases, and orders can still be placed as a mixed selection of 12 bottles or more.

Appearance
Soft pale gold with a gentle deepening from classic Madeleine Angevine hues, showing a slightly richer tint that hints at its time in oak and more textural style.

Aroma
Open, generous and quietly complex. The nose leans into ripe, almost baked fruit—apricot, poached apple and yellow plum—layered with delicate honeyed tones. There’s a subtle oxidative nuance adding intrigue, alongside soft floral notes and a faint savoury, saline edge that speaks clearly of its coastal Devon origin.

Palate
Broader and more textural than the classic expression of the variety. The palate delivers baked orchard fruits—apple, apricot and pear—wrapped in a rounded, gently creamy mid-palate shaped by oak ageing and full malolactic fermentation ( making it creamy)  Despite its weight, a fine thread of acidity keeps the wine poised and balanced. A touch of salinity and soft spice emerges on the finish, which is long, mellow and quietly complex, offering both richness and freshness in harmony.

Food Pairing
A superb partner for richer, flavour-driven dishes. Pair with roast pork with apple sauce, creamy chicken dishes, or pan-fried monkfish. It also works beautifully with buttery seafood such as lobster or scallops, while its texture and gentle oxidative character make it an excellent match for soft cheeses or even a lightly spiced squash and sage risotto.
