These prices are offered due to the highly competitive positioning of the wines and represent exceptional value within the range. They are available strictly on a case basis—either as 6 bottles of sparkling wine or 12 bottles of still wine — from Sandridge Barton. However, flexibility remains for larger purchases, and orders can still be placed as a mixed selection of 12 bottles or more.

Appearance
Pale lemon with a soft golden tint, bright and gently luminous in the glass,

Aroma
Inviting and layered, the nose opens with ripe orchard and stone fruits—golden apple, white peach and baked pear—interwoven with fresh citrus zest. There’s a gentle creaminess developing beneath, alongside hints of honey, soft spice and a delicate savoury edge, reflecting time in oak and lees influence. A faint saline note adds a distinctly coastal Devon character.

Palate
Textural, poised and quietly complex. The palate balances ripe stone fruit and citrus—think peach, lemon curd and apple—with a rounded, almost creamy mid-palate. Good acidity and subtle oak brings structure without dominating. The finish is long, gently mineral and lightly savoury, with a lingering touch of citrus oil and spice. This is a Chardonnay that leans more towards texture and elegance than overt power, echoing modern cool-climate styling. All the hallmarks of everything you want and none of the 'Oak Monster '

Food Pairing
A superb match for refined, flavourful dishes. Pair with roast chicken in a creamy tarragon sauce, pan-seared scallops, or grilled turbot with beurre blanc. It also works beautifully with wild mushroom risotto or a soft, bloomy-rind cheese such as Brie de Meaux, where the wine’s texture and acidity create a seamless balance.
