These prices are offered due to the highly competitive positioning of the wines and represent exceptional value within the range. They are available strictly on a case basis—either as 6 bottles of sparkling wine or 12 bottles of still wine — from Sandridge Barton. However, flexibility remains for larger purchases, and orders can still be placed as a mixed selection of 12 bottles or more.
Appearance Bright and vibrant in the glass, displaying a pale straw colour with subtle green reflections.Great on its own or at Spring and Summer parties
Aroma Aromas of crisp green apple, ripe pear and white peach rise first, followed by delicate touches of lemon zest and grapefruit. Swirl the glass to send the characteristics into a tailspin and gentlefloral notes emerge.
Fresh herbs and a gentle mineralilty add to the experience
Palate On the palate the wine is fresh, lively and beautifully balanced.
Juicy orchard fruits – apple and pear – mingle with bright citrus flavours.
Smooth testure in the mouth with mouthwatering acidity giving the whole experience a clean, elegant finish. Touch of minerality (think licking a knife as a child ) and herbal notes appear here again
Food Pairing The freshness and balance of the Dart Valley Reserve make it an excellent partner for lighter dishes. It pairs beautifully with grilled sea bass, lemon-dressed crab or fresh Devon crab salad. It also complements goat’s cheese, asparagus risotto or lightly spiced Thai dishes where the wine’s crisp acidity lifts the flavours of the food.
Conclusion A beautifully expressive English white that captures the freshness and purity of the Dart Valley, offering bright fruit, elegance and a refreshing finish that makes it both versatile and highly enjoyable at the table.
The great choice with Sandridge Barton / Sharpham is the fact they have so many different styles for you to choose from. Because of the nature of the competitive prices please note that when buying any of these producers wines they are available as case of 6 or more.
Great service, I ordered a bit late just before Xmas . But the wine was delivered promptly and was notified on the tracking of the order. Perfect thank you
I first tried no2 on a date at a fancy restaurant. Its was fantastic,so I thought I would buy a few bottles for home as wine and food always seem to taste better when you are either out or on holiday. Had a little gathering for my wife’s birthday and got asked on numerous occasions what it was they were drinking. Nobody could believe it was English and not French. Enough said.
