These prices are offered due to the highly competitive positioning of the wines and represent exceptional value within the range. They are available strictly on a case basis—either as 6 bottles of sparkling wine or 12 bottles of still wine — from Sandridge Barton. However, flexibility remains for larger purchases, and orders can still be placed as a mixed selection of 12 bottles or more.

A vibrant, Pinot Noir-driven sparkling wine from Devon that captures the essence of a standout harvest. With 35% of the base wine matured in old French oak and a minimum of 16 months on the lees, it balances fresh English acidity with a sophisticated, creamy depth.

Tasting Note
  • Appearance
Pour a glass and watch the energetic mousse rise to the surface. It presents a pale, elegant blush pink hue that catches the light beautifully — a sign of gentle whole-bunch pressing and careful Pinot Noir handling.
  • Aroma
This sparkler "screams Pinot Noir rosé" on the nose. Expect a burst of ripe strawberry and raspberry, layered with redcurrant and a surprising hint of peach yoghurt. Subtle notes of cream and fresh pastry from that extended lees ageing provide a refined, inviting bouquet.
  • Palate
Dry, lively, and seriously focused. The palate echoes the red fruit found on the nose, delivering concentrated strawberry and tart cranberry. There is a gorgeous creamy richness and "rounded" feel thanks to the oak-matured base wine, all underpinned by a bright zing of acidity.

Food Pairing Suggestions
This rosé is built for more than just an aperitif; its structure handles flavour with ease:
  • Seafood: Perfect with grilled salmon, shellfish, or a classic crab salad.
  • Light Meats: Try it with grilled pork or even a smoked duck breast to let the red fruit shine.
  • Casual Dining: A dream for long lunches with a fresh summer salad or charcuterie featuring mild salami and soft cheeses.
GW Verdict: Pure elegance in a bottle. It’s got that "cool kid" Devon energy—bright, tart, and dangerously drinkable, but with enough "grown-up" oak influence to keep things interesting. If Pinot is your grape, this is a winner.
