These prices are offered due to the highly competitive positioning of the wines and represent exceptional value within the range. They are available strictly on a case basis—either as 6 bottles of sparkling wine or 12 bottles of still wine — from Sandridge Barton. However, flexibility remains for larger purchases, and orders can still be placed as a mixed selection of 12 bottles or more.

Appearance
Pale straw with a delicate silver-green hue, bright and fresh.

Aroma
The nose is lifted and expressive, combining the gentle orchard fruit character of Pinot Gris with the aromatic charm of Madeleine Angevine. Notes of ripe pear, crisp green apple and white peach are layered with elderflower, citrus blossom and a subtle hint of fresh-cut herbs. Also a touch of saltiness due to the vineyards location to the Dart estuary.

Palate
Fresh, vibrant and elegantly poised. The palate opens with juicy orchard fruits—pear drop, apple skin and a touch of melon—before moving into zesty citrus and a light floral lift. Madeleine Angevine brings a bright, almost Riesling-like freshness, while Pinot Gris adds texture and roundness. A clean, mineral-driven acidity carries through to a refreshing, slightly saline finish with a whisper of spice.

Food Pairing
A superb partner for fresh, delicate dishes. Pair with Cornish crab, grilled sea bass with lemon butter, or a classic goat’s cheese salad. It also works beautifully with lightly spiced Asian cuisine—think Thai green curry or Vietnamese prawn dishes—where its acidity and aromatics bring balance and lift.
