Deep-rooted in the cool Sonoma Coast, this Syrah is an expression of coastal perfume and savoury precision. It marries plush fruit with mineral tension and a whisper of spice — a wine that’s generous without heaviness, and subtle without restraint.

Appearance

Opaque ruby-garnet with vibrant depth, the colour hints at a concentrated core. It clings to the glass with slow-releasing tears, promising layered intensity and a structured, nuanced wine.

Aroma

A compelling bouquet that unfolds with poise. Black cherry and mulberry sit center stage, laced with graphite, crushed violets and wild herb whispers — rosemary and thyme on the breeze. Beneath, a layer of cracked black pepper and smoked meat enriches without overwhelming. There’s a fresh coastal salinity that lifts the darker fruit, giving brightness to what could otherwise be a brooding profile.

Palate

Rich, textured and beautifully balanced. The core is red and black fruit — juicy black cherry, boysenberry and a hint of tart cranberry — framed by fine, polished tannins and a backbone of cool-climate acidity. Savoury notes emerge mid-palate: olive brine, peppercorn and a touch of smoked bacon weave through, pulling the fruit into a more serious, savoury direction. The finish is long, with a lingering spice and mineral thread that keeps the wine focused and vibrant.

Food Pairing

This Sonoma Coast Syrah is built for flavour-forward dishes that can stand up to its savoury generosity:

  • Charcuterie & Cured Meats: Prosciutto, bresaola and aged salami

  • Grilled Meat: Black pepper steak, lamb chops with rosemary

  • Rich Poultry: Duck breast with cherry compote

  • Hearty Stews: Beef bourguignon, lamb ragù

  • Smoked & Barbecue: Smoked sausage, brisket with peppery rub

Serve at cool room temperature to let its aromatics soar — this is a wine that rewards thoughtful drinking and pairs beautifully with both rustic and refined dishes.
