2016 Radio-Coteau Savoy Anderson Valley Pinot Noir USA
2016 Radio-Coteau Savoy Anderson Valley Pinot Noir USA
GW says: From the renowned Savoy Vineyard in Anderson Valley, Radio-Coteau's 2016 Pinot Noir is a refined New World expression. Historically Syrah was grown there at the Savoy vineyard but replants of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are now well established. Elegant yet structured, it layers bright red fruit with earthy depth, delivering a wine that evolves gracefully in the glass. Home is in Montecito – home to a famous royal couple – but here the vineyard has had less turbulent times – enough to leave the vines to flourish.
Palate: Silky and medium-bodied with lush tannins and piquant acidity, offering red fruit, earth, black truffle, and toasted toffee, finishing velvety and long.
