NV Champagne Jacquesson Cuvée 741 D.T. Zero Dosage Extra Brut France
NV Champagne Jacquesson Cuvée 741 D.T. Zero Dosage Extra Brut France
GW says: Pop the cork and enter the temple of patience with panache. Jacquesson’s Cuvée 741 D.T. (Dégorgement Tardif, a.k.a. the “Slow Clap of Champagne”) is based on the 2013 vintage but aged on its lees for eight luxurious years before disgorgement. Think of it as the Champagne equivalent of a PhD—complex, refined, and with absolutely no tolerance for nonsense. Crafted from Grand and Premier Cru vineyards, sparkles to impress, and possibly judge your canapé choices. Drink it when you’re feeling clever or need to fake being clever.
Grapes: 57% Chardonnay, 22% Pinot Meunier, 21% Pinot Noir – a cerebral blend with flair.
Appearance: Golden with a lazy, elegant mousse.
Aroma: Roasted hazelnuts, citrus marmalade, toast, and a touch of poetic tension.
Palate: Broad, structured, and richly textured with zero dosage—a dry wit in liquid form.
