Champagne Drappier Brut Premier Cru NV
Champagne Drappier Brut Premier Cru NV
GW says:
"Drappier is one of those lesser-known producers, sitting under the radar of the heavily marketed and more well known houses - such as Veuve, Moet and Laurent Perrier. Not so well known, but excellent quality production. This house brings over 200 years of expertise and traditions, surviving 2 world wars and numerous fires. Consciously involved with sustainability and producing carbon-neutral champagne."
Varietals: 60% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Meunier. Grapes only from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards.
Appearance: Golden
Aroma: Pear, hazelnut and delicate toasty spice on the nose.
Palate: Creamy mousse, supported by the usual Champagne acidity. Dried and ripe fruit, a spicy hint with a crisp refreshing finish.
Food Pairing
Food Pairing
